What I just pushed
todo_task_manager is a todo list that runs in your terminal. It is written in C with ncurses. Today I added a README, an install script and a pile of fixes, so it is finally something you can use. The code is at https://github.com/kleinpanic/todo_task_manager.
What it does
Every task has a title, a category, a due date, a priority and a recurrence. You can add, edit, delete, complete, search and sort tasks. There is an undo. Tasks that are overdue or due soon get a color. Your list is saved between runs. There is also a help page now.
What I fixed today
This is the list from my commit message:
- deletion
- undo
- saving
- a segfault
- adding tasks
- recurring tasks, which I added
Yes, that is a lot of broken things. They are fixed now, I think.
How it works
The code is in src/task.c and src/main.c, with a header in include/todo.h and a Makefile in build/. It needs gcc, make, ncurses and pthread. The license is GPL-3.0.
git clone https://github.com/kleinpanic/todo_task_manager.git
cd todo_task_manager
make && sudo make install
./todo
You can also run install.sh. To remove it, run sudo make uninstall.
What is not done
Nothing here is tagged. It is a first usable version, so if you find a bug, tell me.
P.S Thanks for reading. Consider subbing to the RSS feed.
